Computational Designs


Computational Equipment Designs Computing is provided to engineering design companies and corporate-divisions in support of their design tasks. The Engineering Design Computing is a specialization of the Equiproc Designer Computing System to support engineering design computations. In particular for the use of the collection of computing nodes of the infrastructure, several engineering design modules have been developed and deployed for dynamic invocation as needed by a computational task of any customer.

    Modules Development
The primary effort in the development of every Design Computation Module was aimed at adopting an approach that enabled the implementation of a concept model that effectively captures the physical geometry of the equipment. The rationale was that the implementation of the physical geometry will force a design that effectively captures the Chemical Engineering Science underlying and descriptive of the equipment. As such, the standard practice of empirical design approach, entailing the use of correlations was rather rejected in favor of the more accurate but complex mathematical descriptions by Partial Differential Equations. These Modules therefore are without any doubt computation intensive.
The computational design of equipment offers the users competitive advantages such as early to market, as the trial and error in the development of innovative designs is cut short.e advantage.
